The Family Behind the Paws

What We Believe

At Waidwerk, we believe a great Weimaraner is more than a beautiful dog. They are intelligent, driven, loyal companions with a purpose, a heart, and a spirit that deserves to be nurtured.

We believe in preserving the integrity of the breed through thoughtful, responsible breeding, with a focus on health, sound temperament, correct structure, and the natural instincts that make the Weimaraner so exceptional.

We believe in raising dogs who are not only capable in the field and the show ring, but who thrive as beloved members of the family. We value versatility, confidence, and a willingness to work, while never losing sight of the bond that makes this breed so special.

Above all, we believe in quality over quantity, lifelong responsibility to the dogs we produce, and continually learning to better serve the breed we love.

Our goal is to preserve what makes the Weimaraner extraordinary, while thoughtfully shaping the future of the breed—one dog, one litter, and one generation at a time.

Grey Ghost

A Passion Turned Legacy

Waidwerk Weimaraners began with a single weim named Sadie. She was our first Weimaraner back in 2012 when we got married, during the time my husband was stationed in North Carolina. We adopted her from a family who could no longer care for her being a senior with some health problems.
We didn't get much time with her, but its how our love for breed came to light.

Excellence In Every
Generation

We adhere to strict health and genetic testing protocols. Our focus is on producing puppies with sound temperaments and robust health, ensuring they are a source of joy for years to come.

Total transparency is our standard. We provide all health clearances, OFA results, and pedigrees to every prospective family as part of our commitment to trust.
